Rose & Russell Leech founded Arista Pointers in 1977. After 30 years of astute breeding Arista's philosophy still remains the same. The caretakers of Arista have expanded to include Colleen Dewson who has been with Arista since 1989 in New Zealand and then moved overseas in early 2003, taking the kennel name to Australia as well.
