In developing the Arista lines, we have always been mindful, that the Pointer continue to be used as it was originally intended- a working dog.

It would be wise then for us to look at the standard that is provided for sustaining our breed for the future, with the quality parts that blend, fit, and are appropriate to the balance of the whole dog.

We confirm the need to carefully examine our breeding programme for the next 5 years, planning as always towards our goals, to produce sound, well-constructed superior pointers with type and style.

Pointers of Arista, have consistently been sought as desirable stock for emerging kennels, and are sought to the present day, we are still breeding Champions, and we are still breeding In Show Winners. Having said that, we also recognise, that we are only custodians of a breed, for a very short while.
